About Bonaire, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Bonaire is a small community in Georgia. This unincorporated Georgia community is just outside of Warner Robins and is a laid back and relaxed area. This type of town is ideal for low key individuals looking for a bit of land and a place to raise their kids safely and quietly. Its proximity to both Warner Robins and Macon allow it to be sleepy and serene area but still have access to big city amenities.
What else does Bonaire have to offer? Well, the state of Georgia, in general, is known for its lovely greenery, Southern hospitality and delicious, ripe and juicy peaches. The weather is perfect year-round because it is rarely bitterly cold which makes it an ideal area for growing fruit. Snow is a rarity and it doesn’t often dip below freezing. However, snow and ice do pop up and surprise locals from time to time.
If military history, particularly that of the Air Force, is of interest to you then you need to visit nearby Warner Robins. The town is home to the second largest aviation museum in the U.S. The outstanding museum honors military aviation. Military memorabilia, airplanes and ground vehicles, the Tuskegee Airmen, and Operation Desert Storm are all showcased in the exhibits. This museum is, without a doubt, the biggest tourist attraction in the state (outside of Atlanta). Make a hot summer day of museum fun with the family while keeping cool and comfy inside.
Worried about where the kids will go to college? DON’T BE! Nearby Macon is home to 30,000 college students and over a half dozen colleges and universities. As the weather cools each fall, they come flooding back in for another year of learning. Mercer University, Middle Georgia State College, Wesleyan College, and Central Georgia Technical College are all based in Macon. There are also quite a few satellite campuses in town.
